Terrain Management System: My Car Does What

Terrain Management

Allows you to adjust your car’s performance based on the road surface. Some may even switch settings automatically.

The driving surface (or “terrain”) can affect everything about driving, from the smoothness of the ride (suspension) to how easy it is to accelerate, brake and steer. This feature helps drivers control how their car handles based on different surfaces, such as sand, mud, rocks or snow. Advanced versions can even scan the road and estimate the proper settings for better handling.

Drivers should always reduce their speed and make turns more slowly on slippery or uneven terrain.
